Leg Compression SCD

An SCD, or sequential compression device, is a device that is used when a patient is on bed rest and unable to have proper circulation. The SCD is a sleeve that is applied to the legs and emits pulses of pressure to the leg to promote blood flow, in Florida. It is comprised of air tubes, a fabric sleeve and a pump to fill the tubes with air, so that the legs do not become limp.
