As most diagnostic methods, ultrasound diagnostics faces certain challenges, such as the difficulties in penetrating thick layers of biological tissue which leads to the increased noise, low contrast and focus. However, with the years of experience and implementation of innovative technologies Edan successfully addresses those challenges and presents DUS 6. The system implements Dynamic Receiving Focusing and Frequency Scanning which provide a better ultrasound penetration and therefore improve image uniformity. Noise and clutter reduction is achieved with the help of Tissue Harmonic Imaging function. In addition to the above, DUS 6 uses Real-Time Dynamic Aperture technology to provide a superb detail and contrast resolution that ensure a dependable high quality imaging at any point-of-care scene. The Multi-beam technology exerts high frame-rates that also contribute to an acquisition of a sharp image.
