Crash carts main focus is having all emergency medication and equipment at the case that there is an emergency requiring life support protocols (ACLS/ALS). In which case that there is an ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) or ALS (Advanced Life Support) situation a crash cart storing all life saving equipment is necessary. The contents within the crash carts vary between locations, hospitals may need more equipment and medication than a clinic.
